EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, GROUP EUROPEAN AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS, RAIFFEISEN BANK INTERNATIONAL

Paul Pasquali is currently the Executive Director of Group European and Public Affairs at Raiffeisen Bank International. He can look back on a successful career as an internationally experienced manager well beyond the borders of the financial sector.  

Since his studies, which he completed with a master’s degree in law in 2004, he was continually active in the fields of finance, law and politics. As a trainee for the European Commission in 2005 and assistant to the Austrian People’s Party in the federal party headquarters in 2006, Pasquali gained early insights and experience in politics, In addition, he successfully completed postgraduate programs at Duke and Yale University. After having worked for two renowned Austrian law firms and after passing his bar exam, Pasquali moved on to Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG as head of the EU office in Brussels. 

After completing a term of four years in Brussels, Pasquali was called to serve at the Raiffeisen management board secretariat in Vienna, where he directly reported to the CEO and oversaw the preparation of sensitive correspondence, meetings, presentations and speeches. Due to his extensive experience and competence in the field of international regulatory affairs, in 2018 Pasquali was assigned to be Executive Director of the European Group and Public Affairs at Raiffeisen Bank International AG on a European level. In this role he is now managing the groupwide Governmental and Public Affairs relations and activities at national, international and European level.
